IDCMHA is proud to emphasize development of all players across our association. These sessions provide an opportunity to introduce / advance new skills for players and for coaches to gain new insights and experiences to apply in future practices. These development sessions are focused on providing quality opportunities for players to continue their individual skill development throughout the season in a positive and encouraging environment with position specific instructors.
IDCMHA covers the cost of this programing for registered members and will be scheduled by IDCMHA throughout the season.
The purpose of this development program is:
If a player has expressed interest, we encourage parents, players, and coaches to embrace the opportunity to try the position.
For the U9-U11 age groups, the estimated frequency is every 2-3 weeks, excluding holiday breaks and subject to league game schedules and practice times.
For the U13-U15 age groups, the estimated frequency is every 2-3 weeks, and based on member feedback, the second half schedule will be adjusted to allow sufficient time for teams to prepare for playoffs.
