Hockey Manitoba is pleased to offer certification clinics, specialty clinics, and mentorship program(s).
All coaches must achieve “Trained” status through Hockey Manitoba in order to remain eligible for the remainder of the season.
Individuals must complete the online modules delivered through Hockey University then fully attend & participate at a virtual coach clinic to achieve “Trained” status (formerly referred as “certified”). The coaching certification deadline for the 2024 – 2025 season is Friday December 1st, 2024.
The course you require to be “Trained” in is specific to the level you’re currently coaching. Each course stream of training is designed to cover the pertinent learning & skills content appropriate for the level of athlete which you’ll currently be coaching.
In addition to your appropriate course stream outlined below, all coaches also require the Respect In Sport (RIS) certification.
