become a timekeeper

OVERVIEW
IDCMHA will faciliate a time keeper clinic. This course will be run by a trained timekeeper with many years of experience. For more information, see TIMEKEEPER CLINIC DETAILS. Those who attend the clinic and become certified will be permitted to timekeep IDCMHA games during home tournaments or home games. Participants must be a minimum of 12 years old.

PURPOSE
  • Facilitate/organize timekeeper training for community members (non-community members may attend, space permitting)
  • Promote opportunities for local members to be active within our association
  • Provide an opportunity for members to reduce their volunteer requirments

PROCESS
Teams may elect to hire a timekeeper for a home game. Interested teams should contact the President for contact information. (Communication should only go through the Manager.) Please note, teams are not required to hire a time keeper. Parents are still welcome to volunteer for this role. Costs will be at the expense of the team. Managers must pay timekeepers immediately after the game.  Excluded from this process are tournaments. IDCMHA will schedule and pay for timekeepers (subject to availibility). Timekeepers will provide completed game sheets to the IDCMHA Manager at the end of the game. Manageres will submit game sheets to Eastman Minor Hockey Association in accordance to their guidlines here
