There continues to be significant growth and development in female hockey within the Eastman Minor Hockey Association. As participation continues to expand across the region, the Eastman Minor Hockey Association and IDCMHA remain committed to supporting players and families by providing clear communication regarding programming, team formation, host locations, and registration updates throughout the season.

IDCMHA has been proactive in sharing available information and opportunities related to female hockey with our membership and will continue to communicate updates as they become available. Our goal is to ensure that families remain informed while supporting the continued growth of female hockey within our community and the Eastman region.

The sooner associations have confirmed player interest and registration numbers, the sooner discussions can begin with neighboring associations regarding potential team formation and hosting opportunities. Families with players interested in female hockey are encouraged to contact the Female Rep to ensure they receive important updates and information throughout the planning process. It is very beneficial for associations to understand player intentions prior to the beginning of August in order to assist with planning, evaluating numbers, and supporting the formation of female teams where possible.
