GIRLS TEAMS
Depending on registration numbers, those electing to play on a girls-only team may have to travel to a neighbouring host association. Families will be contacted with more information as it is available. Should you have questions, please contact our Female Rep.
Girls will declare their intention to play either mixed or girls hockey prior to evaluations. Once a player attends their first evaluation skate, that decision is considered final, as last-minute changes can directly impact team formation and roster numbers across divisions.
Girls registration fees will be subject to additional league fees through Hockey Winnipeg (to be assessed after teams are formed). A $1000 performance bond will be split among rostered players, and will be refunded at the end of the season.
U18 DIVISION
Teams are expected to be formed across communities, with a host association not yet confirmed. Players must still register with their home association. Once teams are finalized and hosting is confirmed, fees will be set and collected by the hosting association.
REGIONAL TEAM (AA, AAA) OR HIGH SCHOOL TRYOUTS
Players from the IDCMHA catchment trying out for AA, AAA, or high school teams must register with IDCMHA through Hockey Canada first. If selected to a regional AA, AAA, or high school team, IDCMHA will refund your registration fees.
IMPORTANT: Players must sign up for all tryouts seperate from their registration. Registering with IDCMHA does not mean you are automatically signed up for these regional programs. Check the Eastman website for details.
IDCMHA EVALUATIONS
All U9–U13 players are automatically registered for IDCMHA Evaluations (Sept 21–26, 2026). If a player does not attend or withdraws, they will be placed on the “C” team in their age group.
Girls attending mixed evaluations confirm their intent to play on the mixed/co-ed team.
