2024-2025 IDCMHA Registration

REGISTRATION is now closed. 
cONTACT REGISTRAR FOR ANY LATE REGISTRATIONS.

All players U7 to U18, including those regsitering for AA, AAA, High School, and Female Only teams are required to register with IDCMHA if this is your local hockey district. As those tryouts occur and those teams are formed, you will then be transferred from IDCMHA to the host community hockey association for the 2024-25 season.

Step 1

Register each player online through Hockey Canada's system starting July 29, 2024 at 8am. Registration closes on Aug 23, 2024 at 11:59pm .

Show up at the mandatory payment night on September 10,  7:00-8:30pm with two post dated cheques dated  April 1, 2025:

$50 /family AGM deposit cheque,
$150 /player jersey deposit cheque.

How to Register through Hockey Canada

Step 1:  Click the “Register Now” button below to be redirected to the Hockey Canada Registry website.  

Step 2:  Click the ‘Login’ link (top right corner) and login with your existing account credentials.  New parents/players, click on ‘Sign Up’ to create a new account. Note that if you already have kids in hockey but are registering a NEW child, you will need to create a profile for the new child.

Step 3:  Once logged in, click on the user icon (top right corner) and select "My Account".  You will need to link your child’s profile to your account.  On your "Dashboard", click ‘Link a Member’.  There you will be able to search for your returning child’s profile or create a new one for a first-time player.

Step 4: Once your player is linked you can follow the prompts to register for the appropriate age level.

**IMPORTANT**

  • A mandatory $150 fundraising fee will automatically be applied to all player registrations.
  • For families registering multiple players, a discount will be applied at checkout so that the maximum fundraising amount you will pay is $250.
    • Eg. A $50 discount will be applied to the second player registered and $150 discount to the third and all additional players.

NEW PLAYERS: After you have completed the online registration, please provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate to the registrar by email - registraridcmha@gmail.com

MOVING TO IDCMHA: If your child has previously played for another association, before you can register them for hockey in IDC, you will need to contact our registrar at registraridcmha@gmail.com to initiate a transfer.

U7 (2017-2019):  $445 
U9 (2016, 2017):  $645

​​​​​​​Evaluations (U9 & up): Sept. 18-22
Price: FREE (optional) - Registration is required

Evaluations are optional but required if you want your child to have the chance to play on the A or B teams. Any players who do not attend evaluations will automatically be placed on the C team. Please ensure to add the evaluations option on the second screen during registration to participate as registration is required.

Additional Fees

1. Fundraising fee:  
$150 /player OR $250 /family (due with registration)  

2. AGM deposit: 
$50 (post-dated cheque for April 1, 2025 - not cashed &
returned when you attend AGM in April 2025)  

3. Jersey deposit: 
$150 per player (post-dated cheque for April 1, 2025 - not

2. Player socks (optional):  
$25 per pair, due at registration.  New U9, U13, & U15 players require team
socks. U7 & U11 do not as their socks are provided by AtomC.  If your kid(s) already have socks in usable condition from previous years, hand-me-downs, etc, new ones are not required.

REFUND POLICY
There will be no refunds issued after December 1, unless approved by the IDCMHA Executive.  Special consideration may be given for medical, relocation, or compassionate grounds, at the Executive's discretion. Refunds prior to December 1st will be given on a monthly pro-rated basis and will incur a $50 refund fee.

FEES & PENALTIES

  • A $50 fee will apply to any refunds in addition to payment processing fees - see refund policy above.
  • A $30 NSF fee will be charged for any returned cheques.

Option 1: Pay in full by Credit Card
Full payment due online at time of registration. 

Option 2: Credit Card Instalments (4 payments)
25% of your registration fee and fundraising fee, is due online at time of registration.  Also due at time of registration are optional hockey sock purchases ($25 per pair).  The remaining balance will be split into 3 future instalments - Sept. 15, Oct.15, Nov. 15.

REGARDLESS OF PAYMENT METHOD, please also bring to the in-person payment day:
September 10 between 7:00-8:30pm at IDC Arena

  1. One $50 AGM deposit cheque payable to "IDCMHA" which will be returned to you when you attend the AGM at the end of the season.  
  2. A $150 per player jersey deposit cheque payable to "IDCMHA" which will be held on to until the end of the season and returned to you once you return your jersey(s).

Other Items

1. AA and AAA tryouts:  
Players trying out for AA and AAA must still register for IDCMHA through Hockey Canada.
When registering, select the AA/AAA tryout option to bypass registration and fundraising fees.

2. Female Only Teams: 
Females choosing to play on U11,  U13, or U15 female only teams are required to register as players with IDCMHA.
They can register without payment through Hockey Canada.
As teams are formed and it is determined where the female only team will be hosted, fees will be set and paid to the hosting hockey association.

3. U18: 
U18 fees are still to be determined as it is likely that players from multiple communities will be merged and a host community is decided. 
U18 players must still register with their communities through Hockey Canada.
As teams are formed and it is determined where the U18 male and female teams will be hosted, fees will be set and paid to the hosting hockey association.
